Kumar Mangalam Birla is an Indian billionaire businessman. He was born on 14 June 1967 in Kolkata. He is the chairman of Multinational Aditya Birla Group in 1995, one of largest conglomerates in India. He was 28 years old when his father passes away and later he handled Birla group. He also philanthropist. His parents name is Aditya Vikram Birla and Rajshree Birla. He married to Neerja Birla in the year of 1989.

Kumar Mangalam Birla completed his early schooling from Anglo-India school in Kolkata. After he completed his high schooling from Sydenham college of commerce and economics. For bachelor’s degree he went to the Mumbai and completed his bachelor’s in BCom from HR college of commerce, University of Mumbai. For Master’s degree he completed his masters from London business school in 1992. He also a CA(Charter Accountant) He once told that he had no intention of becoming a CA, but my father insisted that i become a CA and i couldn’t refuse him, so he earned his CA degree.

The Aditya Birla Group began with Seth Shobha ram, a small businessman in Pilani, Rajasthan, who could barely manage his own household.
In 1840, his son was born, named Shiv Narayan Birla, who started a cotton industry and also founded a trading company.
In 1880, he handed over his business to his son Baldev Das Birla (adopted son of Shiv Narayan Birla). He founded a trading company called Baldev Das Jugalkishore, which became the foundation of the Birla Company.
In 1920, he handed over his business to his four sons. One of them was Ghanshyam das Birla, also known as GD Birla. He founded the Birla Institute of Technology.
He handed over his business to his son Aditya Birla. In 1995, he died of cancer at the age of 52 and the entire responsibility of the business passed to his son Kumar Mangalam Birla. He was only 28 years old when he took over the management of the Aditya Birla Group.
